Aged Care and Retirement
The demand for residential care, accommodation, and community-based services is growing rapidly with Australia being transformed by an ageing population. Opportunities are expanding across various models of care with private and government-funded accommodation increasing similarly.
With over 25 years of experience across both the aged care and retirement sectors, we confidently navigate this highly regulated environment. We provide end-to-end advice, from approvals, structuring and establishment, financing and development, approvals accreditation and the management of care, operational issues, and compliance in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. We also currently act for a significant portion of providers in the funded and unfunded home care sector.
In the retirement living sector, we have advised on the operation, establishment or redrafting of over 50 retirement village schemes Australia-wide and have established and registered over 12 retirement villages in Queensland.
Given the highly regulated and constantly evolving legal environment, our team of specialists know and keep abreast of current and emerging industry issues, and can respond in innovative and diverse ways. Our team understands day-to-day industry operations, the drivers of policy and the complexities of government regulation. Most importantly, we listen to our clients and act upon their specific needs.
