About Eva

Eva has extensive experience in property and real estate law, with a particular focus on all aspects of property development. She advises large corporations, property trusts, private syndicates and developers.

Eva is a key member of our Real Estate team and has a particular focus on property development, property sales and acquisitions, and commercial and retail leasing transactions.

She is experienced in drafting and negotiating sale, acquisition and project documentation for all types of real estate assets. This includes preparing strata documentation and project contracts for large scale off-the-plan developments and managing all aspects of the project.

Eva’s expertise also extends to title and leasing due diligence and acting for institutional landlords and major tenants in a wide range of leasing transactions ranging from drafting and negotiation of major leases to advice on complex agreements for lease and make good arrangements.

Experience

Joint Venture

Advising on a JV between an Australian property fund and Hong Kong based fund manager in a $147 million acquisition of a 3ha development site currently housing Channel 9’s historic Sydney Studios in Willoughby.

International developer

Advising the acquisition of a residential strata complex in Macquarie Park, NSW from a consortium of owners advising on strata renewal and development under the recently changed strata legislation.

Private development company

Acting in relation to a $100 million property acquisition and staged development of a number of residential sites in Western Sydney, NSW.

Major developer and hotel operator

Advising on the development of a large-scale residential (in excess of 400 units) and retail development in Sydney metropolitan area.

Major Australian real estate investment trust

Advising on a portfolio of commercial leasing matters for major Sydney assets valued in excess of $315 million.

Major Australian transport company

Acting in relation to a grain facility joint venture with Australia’s largest listed agribusiness company.
