The McCullough Robertson Housing team is passionate about contributing to a solution to the housing crisis gripping our nation. Our team of specialists is privileged to partner with a diverse range of for-purpose organisations, developers and sector leaders, supporting a shared vision of helping address the housing emergency.
We are at the forefront of many significant developments designed to provide accommodation relief to the wider community, including pilot build-to-rent (BTR or B2R) projects, the Queensland Housing Investment Growth Initiative (QHIGI) (including Housing Investment Fund and QuickStarts), and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) opportunities (including Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) and Supported Independent Living (SIL) support services).
Bringing together and coordinating expertise across property, planning, corporate (including charities), tax, construction, finance, employment and safety, insurance, and intellectual property, our dedicated Housing team seamlessly delivers holistic and integrated services to ensure the most desirable outcomes are achieved for each project.
Our team of legal specialists has the knowledge and proven track record of advising providers, and is also deeply passionate about the sector, with a number of team members holding board or advisory roles including with Community Housing Industry Association (CHIA), Property Council of Australia, and Urban Developer Institute of Australia. We also work closely with peak bodies such as QShelter.
Bringing this expertise and dedication to the sector, we have proudly been involved in industry leading projects for many community housing providers (CHPs) such as Brisbane Housing Company (BHC), National Affordable Housing (NAH), Coast2Bay Housing, Jacaranda Housing, Bric Housing, and North Coast Community Housing.
