About Stephen
Stephen is an experienced corporate partner with over 15 years of legal experience in both the private and public sector.
Stephen’s clients come from a broad range of sectors including food and agribusiness, real estate, banking and financial services, technology, infrastructure, and government. He advises Australian and international clients on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, commercial transactions, and corporate advisory.
He is known for seeing the big-picture in transactions and navigating clients through sale processes, including competitive bid processes, FIRB and insured (W&I) transactions.
Stephen is also experienced in advising on distressed M&A transactions, using a multidisciplinary approach, working with insolvency teams and practitioners to manage and advise on the sale of distressed assets.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Stephen worked in a technology start-up, which has given him a unique appreciation for the technology and start-up sectors and client needs.
