Seer Security Pty Ltd sale to Tesserent Limited

McCullough Robertson has successfully led the sale of Seer Security’s Melbourne and Canberra based businesses to Tesserent Limited (ASX: TNT).

With Seer Security’s cybersecurity capabilities focused on Government-certified delivery of Assurance and Governance, Risk and Compliance and software development, this deal significantly strengthens Tesserent’s cybersecurity services and delivery to Australian Federal Government departments and agencies.

Targeting the recently announced $1.3B “Cyber Enhanced Situational Awareness and Response (CESAR)” budget, this deal highlights the opportunity for Australian-based cyber security firms to work with all levels of Australian Government.

Lead Partner, Adrian Smith comments “The CESAR budget is Australia’s largest investment to date in cybersecurity.  We are likely to see a lot of deal activity in this sector as companies seek to align with and deliver on these capabilities and initiatives”.
