McCullough Robertson promotes four to partnership, continuing to grow towards its centenary in 2026
Leading independent law firm McCullough Robertson has announced the appointment of four new partners effective 1 July 2024:
- Kara Mezinec – Planning and Environment (Sydney)
- Tom Reaburn – Employment Relations and Safety (Brisbane)
- Jessica Bland – Litigation and Dispute Resolution (Brisbane)
- Alan Wrigley – Litigation and Dispute Resolution (Brisbane)
Ms Mezinec specialises in environmental, planning, local government and property law. She has over 13 years experience appearing as advocate across various jurisdictions in the Supreme Court and Land and Environment Court. Kara advises various state government agencies, state-owned corporations, local councils, private developers and energy companies.
Mr Reaburn specialises in work health and safety, employment relations and government focused law. He acts for both private and public sector clients in relation to WHS law, rail safety law and heavy vehicle national law. This includes front-end advice, responding to major incidents, enforcement and prosecutions, and internal and external reviews of regulator actions and decisions.
Ms Bland practises in the litigation and dispute resolution team, primarily in the area of commercial litigation. She acts on behalf of a wide range of clients, including private clients, commercial clients from various industries (including agribusiness and resources), and State and local government clients.
Mr Wrigley specialises in contractual disputes, commercial claims and regulatory matters. Alan has experience acting for a diverse range of clients, including individuals, listed companies, not-for-profit entities and government bodies.
