Matthew is a Senior Associate in our Corporate Advisory group, with a particular focus on equity capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate advice.
Matthew acts for a range of clients, including listed and unlisted companies, small to large proprietary companies, early stage ventures, individuals and trustees.
Matthew advises clients on public and private capital raisings, regulated and unregulated mergers and acquisitions under various transaction structures, venture capital and early stage venture capital investment fund structures, and general corporate matters, including employee incentive schemes and compliance with the Corporations Act and ASX Listing Rules.
Prior to joining McCullough Robertson, Matthew was corporate legal counsel for an ASX-listed real estate investment trust and fund manager, where he advised on corporate governance matters, general commercial transactions, funds management, regulated capital raisings, joint ventures, debt financing, and corporate M&A.
Advising the vendors on the sale of the EPIC Pharmacy business and operations to Slade Pharmacy.
Advising the vendors on the sale of Think Mobility to ILS, an investee company of private equity firm, Riverside.
Advising on XPON Technologies Group Limited (ASX: XPN) on its $12.5 million IPO.

Acting for Diatreme Resources Limited (ASX: DRX) in its $13.9 million capital raising and advising on a joint venture arrangement for the company’s silica sands projects.
Acting for Swissport (Australia) on the acquisition of its international airport lounge business.
KGL Resources Limited
Advising KGL Resources Limited on several secondary capital raisings and placements to sophisticated investors.
