The Queensland Parliament recently passed the Labour Hire Licensing Act 2017 (Qld) which establishes a mandatory labour hire licensing which will require all labour hire providers to be licensed and all users of labour hire services to engage only licensed providers.
The new labour hire licensing scheme will commence in Queensland on 16 April 2018 and includes new guidelines to adhere to, along with strong penalties for breach of obligations.
