About Lynn
Lynn is a Senior Associate in the Real Estate and Finance team and specialises in property transactional matters, including the sale and acquisition of commercial, retail, industrial and rural properties as well as in commercial, retail and industrial leasing.
Lynn has experience in acting and advising for all parties to real estate acquisitions and disposal transactions and in leasing matters, including private sector as well as state and local government clients. She has worked closely with clients in the private sector, including ASX-listed corporations, private real estate investment funds, small to medium business enterprises, family offices and not-for-profit organisations.
She regularly reviews and advises parties on pre-contract heads of agreements, contracts for sale of land, put and call option agreements, options to leases, leases, and agreements for lease.
Her prior experience in the corporate and commercial law space specialising in mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets and general commercial contracts across various industries including within the renewables space has put her in good stead to identify commercial and practical solutions to address both her client’s business objectives and legal risk.

Advising and acting in property acquisition and leasing matters for a private family office portfolio worth $330 million across Sydney CBD and North Sydney, including a mixed range of real estate classes including shopping centres, commercial office buildings, and industrial premises.
Commercial office disposal
Advising, negotiating and acting on the sale of a commercial office building on Walker Street, North Sydney to Stockland worth $85 million.
Disposal and leaseback arrangements
Acting for a family-owned wholesale, import and distribution business on their contemporaneous disposal of four industrial warehouses worth $50 million in Smeaton Grange, including advising on various owner-occupier leaseback arrangements.
Co-ownership issues
Advising a private real estate fund on its proposed purchase of a 50% interest in a shopping centre in NSW and resulting co-ownership agreement.
Collective sales
Acting for owners of units for a collective sale of a serviced apartment hotel at Sydney Martin Place worth $26 million and of a commercial building at Milsons Point worth $20 million.
Bespoke leasing issues
Acting for a private investor landlord in respect of its agreement for lease and lease for a medical facility in Maitland involving complex and protracted make good negotiations for the construction of a bespoke bunker to a global provider of cancer and cardiac care services.
