About Jessica
Jessica has worked at McCullough Robertson since 2009 and specialises in commercial, duty and tax transactions.
She provides advice to publicly listed and private entities across a range of industries, including resources and renewables, food and agribusiness and property.
Specifically, Jessica designs and implements group structures (and restructures) for transactions and asset ownership. With a particular focus on stamp duty, she advises on exemptions, assessments, private rulings and objections.
She works closely with her clients’ accountants to manage what are often competing tax, stamp duty and commercial objectives to achieve the most cost effective solutions.
Within the corporate space, Jessica advises on and designs corporate reconstructions, holding company interpositions and rollovers. Her stamp duty specialisation and knowledge applies Australia-wide.
Within the resources industry she also focuses on both State based royalties and private contractual royalties.
As a corporate and commercial lawyer with a strong foundation in contract law Jessica provides general commercial advice on a range of matters such as shareholders’ agreements as well as business and share sale agreements.
Her organisational skills and attention to detail is a major asset when implementing complex restructures within tight time frames.
