About Bethany
Bethany is a Senior Associate who has been involved in a number of key property transactions. She has more than five years of experience in the property and finance space, focusing in particular on corporate and property due diligence, sales and acquisitions and retail and commercial leasing.
Bethany has acted for clients in both the private and public sectors, including large institutional clients, government entities, international property developers and high net-worth individuals.
Bethany has extensive leasing experience working with a number of local government landlords, including Liverpool City Council and Blacktown City Council.

Large Scale Residential Development
Acted for a private development company in relation to a $100 million property acquisition and staged development of a number of residential sites in Schofields, NSW. Advised in relation to option agreements, acquisition contracts, partition and joint venture-type agreements, sale contracts and various aspects of the conveyancing matters
Abu Dhabi Investment Authority
Acted for the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority with respect to a $800 million acquisition of Tourism Asset Holdings’ portfolio of 31 hotels located across six Australian jurisdictions. Work included comprehensive title and planning due diligence in respect of New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, Victorian Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australian assets, including review of liquor licensing arrangements and hotel management agreements.
Lotus Development MGT Pty Ltd (part of the Lotus Group)
On the $25m acquisition of heritage listed industrial building ‘Eclipse House’, located in Sydney’s suburb of Alexandria, NSW. Work included advice on the purchase of the property, title and leasing due diligence, review and negotiation of put and call option, contract for sale and related mortgage documentation. Our team also advised and drafted ancillary licence agreements agreed between the vendor and Lotus Group for the option term
