About Alison
Alison specialises in intellectual property law and trade marks and is based in our Sydney office. Her focus is on trade mark prosecution, portfolio management, brand protection and enforcement. Originally from Ireland, Alison completed a Master of Laws, majoring in Intellectual Property Law, with University of Technology Sydney (UTS) in 2015. Prior to joining McCullough Robertson, Alison worked as an intellectual property lawyer for a global law firm.
Alison acts for a diverse range of international and Australian based clients in a range of industries such as food and beverage, fashion, beauty, entertainment, health, financial services and technology, to name a few.
Alison advises on all aspects of brand and IP management including conducting trade mark clearance searches and advising on availability for use and registration, advising on trade mark prosecution strategy and enforcement, advising on infringement issues, removal proceedings and oppositions and advising on the IP aspects of transactions and projects.
