Directors’ safe harbour for restructuring

Australia’s new safe harbour provisions provide directors with an exception from insolvent trading liability where they are developing courses of action that are reasonably likely to lead to a better outcome for the company than administration or liquidation.  Corporate Partner Reece Walker provides an update on and explanation of the ‘safe harbour’ legislation. They are joined by Richard Hughes, a Partner at Deloitte who specialises in business turnaround.
