Siobhan practises in commercial litigation across a range of industries including mining and resources, health, government, and intellectual property.
With a particular interest in intellectual property disputes, prosecutions and disputed government approvals, Siobhan has advised across a number of Australian jurisdictions.
Siobhan’s experience is broad and includes regulatory approval court proceedings and compensation proceedings in the Land Court of Queensland, urgent injunction proceedings in the Supreme Courts of Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales and prosecutions under a variety of Queensland Acts.
Additionally she has assisted clients with intellectual property litigation in the Federal Court of Australia, debt recovery proceedings ,judicial review proceedings in the Queensland Supreme Court, and pre-court negotiations and mediations.
Acted in numerous successful prosecutions under the Pest Management Act 2001 (Qld), the Food Act 2006 (Qld), the Tobacco and Other Smoking Products Act 1998 (Qld).
Acted for Mackay Sugar and other sugar producers in multiple Federal Court proceedings relating to sugar industry disputes.
Advised Bengal Coal, a multinational resources company in Land Court of Queensland proceedings to obtain mining approvals.
