With over 14 years as a banking and finance lawyer, Jane’s experience combines private practice with roles as in-house counsel at a national regional bank and also a secondment at a major national bank.
Her expertise covers all aspects of banking and finance, including retail and commercial advisory, transactional work, regulatory advice and insolvency advice. She regularly acts for major and regional banks, credit unions, private financiers, individual and corporate borrowers and guarantors.
She assists clients with property, equipment and vendor finance, commercial contract reviews, and due diligence in relation to potential acquisitions. Additionally she drafts, negotiates and reviews facility agreements and securities documents and advises on the Personal Property Securities Act and National Consumer Credit Protection Act.
