Felicity has a strong understanding of emerging environmental legal areas, including pollution management and reporting, greenhouse gas emission reporting obligations and the international emissions trading scheme.
Felicity acts for both public and private clients and provides assistance with complex environmental planning issues, including native title, biodiversity offsets, water licensing, contaminated land, pollution incidents, environmental protection licences and greenhouse gas emissions.
Felicity assists clients with litigation matters in the Land and Environment Court, Court of Appeal and Federal Court. Additionally she prepares environmental assessment documents for various mining and infrastructure clients and drafts statutory and environmental justifications for development approvals and planning and mining legislation.
Felicity’s experience also includes advising on biodiversity offset options, obligations relating to Aboriginal heritage and native title, and local planning development applications and disputes. She regularly responds to NSW EPA notices, liaises on pollution legislation and advises on access requests made under privacy laws.
