Our specialist Commercial Borrower and Project Finance Group has experience in addressing financing and security matters across a variety of industries and projects. We act predominantly for commercial borrowers seeking debt and structured financing in the mining, manufacturing, agribusiness, construction, infrastructure and property development industries. Our cross-discipline group of specialists work closely with clients to provide a complete service to meet our clients’ needs.
Experience in a wide range of industries means we have a knowledge base which allows us to identify the real issues for clients. We have acted in numerous cross border arrangements and have successfully implemented large scale transactions in excess of $300 million. We act in both stand alone financing arrangements and as part of a team involved in larger transactions where the financing may be a small but critical part of the total deal. Our reputation is for getting the job done in a timely and efficient manner so that the financing fits comfortably within the wider transaction.
Our aim is to protect our clients’ interests but at the same time are acutely aware of the importance of being commercial and providing solutions to allow transactions to settle. Our emphasis is placed on resolving issues, not creating problems. We carry out investigations on behalf of our clients, report outcomes, make suggestions and, in consultation with our clients, deliver the type of sign off required in major financial transactions.
We draw personal satisfaction from our clients' success and look to maximise opportunities. We take a team approach and can either lead a transaction or be part of a team, depending on our client's requirements.
Our lawyers can assist you with:
