Belinda is a Special Counsel in the firm’s Insurance and Risk Management Group. Belinda has worked in the area of personal injury law specialising in workers’ compensation and public liability claims since 2003.
Belinda previously worked as an in-house lawyer for a worker’s compensation insurer where she was responsible for liaising with employers and managing a variety of claims including serious injury claims and multiple party claims.
Belinda now works predominately in the area of workers’ compensation law and is responsible for providing WorkCover Queensland with advice on indemnity, exposure, damages and stakeholder management. She is always focussed on adopting and applying her client’s goals to achieve real results.
Belinda is a skilled advocate and regularly represents clients during conferences and mediations. She has appeared in the Supreme, District and Magistrates Courts as well as various Tribunals.
