Isaac is a partner in McCullough Robertson’s corporate advisory group specialising in mergers and acquisitions and capital raisings. He advises a broad range of listed and unlisted clients.

He is the head of McCullough Robertson’s Food and Agribusiness group and recently advised the Queensland Investment Corporation on its acquisition of a controlling interest in The North Australia Pastoral Company (NAPCO), which manages 5.8 million hectares across Queensland and the Northern Territory with approximately 180,000 head of cattle.  

Isaac also has a strong track record in resources, having acted for the Queensland Gas Company during its $5.2 billion on-market takeover, ERM Power on its $100 million initial public offering and listing on ASX and PanAust Limited in its $358 million capital raising.

In recognition of his achievements Isaac has been listed as a leading corporate and M&A lawyer by the Asia Pacific Legal 500 who says he ‘works extremely hard and constantly delivers’. He is also a ‘Recommended’ lawyer in Doyle’s 2016 listing of leading Brisbane Corporate & Commercial Lawyers. 

Isaac is also a founder and current director of Natural Carbon Pty Ltd, which specialises in developing carbon farming projects targeting large scale pastoral and indigenous properties that can generate Australian carbon credits. Having been involved in the Carbon Farming Initiative from its inception and with hands-on project management experience in the sector, Isaac provide specialist legal advice about the Carbon Credits (Carbon Farming Initiative) Act 2011 (Cth) to project proponents, financiers and other industry participants.
