McCullough Robertson's Employment Relations and Safety team bolstered with recent promotions

National firm McCullough Robertson has announced the promotion of two lawyers to senior associate positions in its Brisbane office.

The promotions come as a result of the continued hard work and outstanding performance of Brittany Byrne and Liam Fraser who are both dedicated members of the firm’s Employment Relations and Safety team.

Strong demand associated with significant and long term client relationships, particularly across the public sector have provided opportunities for Ms Byrne and Mr Fraser to bolster the team as they prepare for a busy and successful 2017.

Ms Byrne, who started with McCullough Robertson as a lawyer in June 2014, advises both private and public sector clients in relation to both litigious and non-litigious employment and industrial relations matters.  She has particular experience in employment terminations, workplace investigations, employee restraints, discrimination claims and general protections and unfair dismissal actions. Ms Byrne is also a member of the firm’s Diversity Committee and was involved in the recent implementation of the firm’s Gender Equitable Briefing initiative.

Mr Fraser started with the firm as a lawyer in March 2014. He has experience providing strategic advice on industrial disputes and work health and safety compliance across a range of industries, particularly construction, mining and petroleum and gas. Mr Fraser regularly assists clients to navigate difficult and stressful work health and safety incidents.

McCullough Robertson Partner Guy Humble said the promotions were recognition of each lawyer's exceptional performance, providing commercial solutions and outstanding service for its clients’ most complex employment, industrial relations and safety issues.

“On behalf of all the partners I congratulate Brittany and Liam on their well-deserved promotions. I’m confident they will continue to make significant contributions and provide invaluable support to the employment relations team in their more senior roles,” said Mr Humble.
