Real Estate advises R&F Properties on its 10,000 apartment development at Springfield
Our Real Estate team has advised Chinese development and investment group Guangzhou R&F Properties Co., Limited (R&F Properties) on its agreement to deliver a major medium-high density apartment project at Springfield in partnership with Etone Australia Holdings (Etone) and Springfield Land Corporation.
The significant residential development, to be known as Central Gardens, is located adjacent to the rail station and transit hub in the heart of Greater Springfield and will comprise approximately 10,000 apartments plus ancillary commercial and retail space. The estimated end value is more than $6 billion.
McCullough Robertson advised R&F Properties on the development agreement and ancillary documents with R&F Properties, Etone and Springfield Land Corporation and the joint venture arrangement with Etone (including the associated corporate restructuring and FIRB considerations).
The deal was led by Kristan Conlon (Partner) and involved Marianne Lloyd-Morgan (Senior Associate), Joel McAndrew (Lawyer), along with members of our corporate, planning and environment and banking and finance teams.
